Abroad Calling Interview: Ingrid, from Mexico to Norway

Ingrid shares her stories of growing up in Mexico with a Colombian and Swedish background. She was born in Mexico City, then came of age in Huatulco, Oaxaca where she lived from the age of 10. She spent a year living with her aunt in Sweden when she was 16 years old. When I met her in 2004, we were both living in Real de Catorce, SLP, Mexico.

I recorded this podcast with her in the Lofoten islands in Norway where she has lived for over a decade now. We talk about her life experience traversing different cultures and people. She has two beautiful children and, like me, she’s in the process of making her dreams come true. She is a Zumba instructor, Kundalini yoga teacher, and sound therapist and coach.
